Hotels and resorts in Cabo have been defined by three geographic areas (San Jose del Cabo, the Corridor and Cabo San Lucas). While these three areas continue to be the most popular, a new Pacific Ocean facing area has been opened to the north of Cabo San Lucas starting with the Pueblo Bonito chain (see below).

 

You need to contemplate several factors in deciding where to stay, including beach/ swimming conditions (note: these vary greatly in all three areas of Los Cabos), transportation issues (cabs are expensive) and amenity offerings (San Lucas for fishing, San Jose for shopping, Corridor for golf ). All Inclusive vs non-All Inclusive? If staying in San Jose and San Lucas, the AI option will mean missing some excellent dining opportunities. However the Corridor may be right for the AI option due to limited off-property dining options. Los Cabos is an excellent destination for families, partly due to the wide variety of condo-style units.
